Follow the steps below to make an original RoboSel6 CD that can be used for first time installations as well as for updating. Due to upload limitations the RoboSel CD is split in 6 files.
May we suggest to install RoboSel and all other Robot software in a directory C:\Robot\. Instead of drive C:\ you can choose any drive on your PC or if you want C:\Program Files\Robot\. All future updates will be for this structure.
If Windows "Compressed Folders" is your default program for zipped files, just click the files below and select [Open]. Otherwise save the file first, click on it and use [Open with Compressed Folders]. You must see a single directory Robot only.

| Downloading the files.
Open the files RoboSel installation CD 1 to 6 one by one. Just drag and drop the directory Robot to the directory of the drive where you will install RoboSel, i.e. C:\ or C:\Program Files\. For all downloads confirm overwriting existing files. The directory \Robot\ will be created automatically. | | | | | Burning the CD.
You will find all files in C:\Robot\RoboSel installation CD\. Select all files and directories and drop it on the CD. Don't forget to name the CD RoboSel6 otherwise it won't be recognized.
There is a directory on the disc too with a label layout. | | | | | Using the CD.
The CD has auto start facilities. On the main screen select [RoboSel installation]. Follow the on screen instructions. Wherever you install RoboSel on your PC, we recommend to use or create the directory C:\Robot\ or C:\Program Files\Robot\. | | | | | Copying documentation to your hard drive.
Exit the RoboSel installation CD, but do not remove the CD yet. Start RoboSel via [Start] [All programs] [RoboSel]. (Create a shortcut on your desktop by right clicking and selecting [Send to desktop]). In the wake up screen of Robosel select [Datasheets] [Browse]. Select language by language and follow [Copy file to]. Browse to the directory C:\Robot\RoboSel\Documentation\"Language" etc. If the directory does not yet exist use [Make directory]. For updating overwrite existing files. After installation you do no longer need the CD. Please note that American is also for all 60Hz documentation.

You are now ready to set RoboSel's default settings. In the main menu select [Settings]. May we suggest to set the flow tolerance to at least 1 or 2%. This will select cheaper pumps. The button [Project], allows you to specify where RoboSel will store it's calculations. We recommend to made a projects directory in the RoboSel directory. Don't forget to confirm your selection by clicking the [OK] button.
