RW Vortex pumps

vortex submersible pumps: the real tough pumps for the most demanding applications
RWx2 The vortex submersible pumps form the heart of our program. From the first intro- duction in the early 60'-ies of last century they have built up a sound reputation for unmatched solids pumping performance and reliability. These pumps are considered the trucks amongst waste water pumps.

Any pump can handle dirty water, but when it comes to really demanding applica- tions in either sewage, food processing, sludge & slurry pumping or other tough applications vortex pumps make the difference. They proved to be the most cost effective solution thanks to the vortex principle. This principle not only makes sure that the largest possible solids can and will pass through the pumps without even going through the impeller. But they also reduce the need for manual sump cleaning as just sufficient turbulence is created underneath and around the suction mouth, where it is mostly needed to whirl up settled sludge and solids. On top of that vortex pumps keep on pumping without the need for impeller to liner adjustments in spite of wear.

Within the Robot range there is the choice of solids handling 50, 65, 80 or 100 mm. The high head models up to 110 m TDH single stage pumps outperform all other hydraulic designs in efficiency for similar solids handling / head ratios.
Pumps are available with hard wearing parts or in all NiHard4. So are stainless steel AISI 316 and sea water resistant duplex stainless steel AISI 329, hydraulic parts and complete pumps.
The larger models can be supplied with optionally cooling jackets. Most models are available in certified explosion proof version to European ATEX or USA FM standards. Pumps are CSA listed.
