BD dry installed vortex pumps: NiHard

dry installed vortex pumps are first choice in industrial applications worldwide
This combination of vortex pump & NiHard4 hydraulic parts has following features and customer benefits:

No blockages and low wear figures due to the vortex principle, whereby almost all of the solids pass in front of the impeller, light fibrous contaminations and heavy abrasive parts alike.

All wetted parts are in NiHard4, an abrasion resistant through and through hard material. This greatly extends the life and time between service intervals. No big amounts of sacrificing material, ensuring wide passage ways at all times.

Vortex pumps do not require impeller to liner adjustments. They provide a constant high output without special attention. No down times, no skilled staff and no valuable maintenance time to make the re-adjustments and restore performance.

Last but not least, the vortex - NiHard4 combination leads to very affordable pump prices as well as cost for maintenance and parts replacements.

Typical applications where vortex NiHard pumps in dry configuration proved their reliability and cost effectiveness are:

In sewage treatment plants:
Blank

Sludge circulation in the digester.
Many old installations still lack an adequate sand and grid trap, so sand is circulated in the digester too.

In sand wash installations.
To treat abrasives removed in the sand and grid traps.

In food processing:
food wash installations, for removing sand and clay from potatoes, sugar cane, vegetables and so on.

In general industry:
Many industrial processes produce waste water with abrasive contaminations. In the production processes as well as in the water recycling plants hard wearing pumps are frequently required.
