| a one directional Jet Cleaning system |
The RSB RoboJet cleaner creates a strong water jet that will whirl up settled solids and sludge. The powerful jet points in one direction, making the RoboJet best suitable for narrow but long basins. The water jet is created in a jet nozzle installed inside the open ended discharge pipe. The increased flow velocity in the jet nozzle results in a local pressure drop that in turn is used to suck in air. The air and water are thoroughly mixed and leave the outlet pipe with even greater speed, significantly extending the effective working distance.
The inlet of air makes the RoboJet also suitable for aeration where at the same time whirling and mixing is required or as emergency break down aerator. The aeration capacity can also be used to reduce smelling problems in storm water overflow collecting sumps.

Documentation
Follow the link specifications in the left pane to find details on the effective cleaning area for various pump / RoboJet combinations. Here you will also find details on the aeration capacity at various immersion depths.
| Freestanding The RoboJet is installed directly on the discharge of submersible pumps. Care should be given to movement of the unit. | | | | | With guide rail system
| An optional guide rail system is available as one of the measures to prevent moving of the unit. When removing the unit from the tank, the nozzle is removed together with the pump and is easy accessible for cleaning. |
| Fixed installation In this case the RoboJet must be installed at the outlet of the discharge pipe in order not to interfere with the air inlet. In this case the pump is best installed on a guide rail coupling.
| For deep sumps In very deep sumps, it's best to limit the depth of immersion for the nozzle and by that maximize the air intake. With the outlet pipe pointing downwards the mixing and aeration effect at the deeper sections can be improved. |
| Suspended Suspended from a floater or barge is the most widely used installation method when used as emergency surface aerator.
